Historic Zoar Village Opens Exhibit Showcasing the Works of Revered Cleveland Artist Adam Lehr

On May 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. Historic Zoar Village is hosting an opening event for its new art exhibit entitled “Landscapes of Memory: Adam Lehr in Zoar.” A frequent visitor of Zoar, Lehr is a historic Cleveland artist primarily known for his still-life and landscape paintings. This is the largest gathering of Lehr’s paintings in one place, with many of the works in the exhibit being donated by direct descendants of Lehr. The exhibit offers a powerful reflection on the history of the Zoar community and the landscapes that shaped it.  The event will take place at the Historic Zoar Village’s Bimeler Museum at 198 3rd St., Zoar, Ohio, 44697. Reservations are requested.
