Historic Zoar Village’s Homeschool Day returns
The event
Historic Zoar Village’s Homeschool Day returns on Friday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Homeschool students of all ages will learn how the Zoar Separatists prepared for spring through a variety of hands-on activities including butter churning, planting seeds, tin smithing and a bread relay.
Students will also tour many preserved historical buildings such as the Blacksmith, the Dairy and the Laundry to learn more about Zoar’s history.
Tickets are $7 per student, $7 per adult and free for children 5 and under. Admission is free for one adult per group. Reservations are requested. Private homeschool tours are available by appointment only.
