June Lunch and Learn features Fire Captain Joe Minocchi

Joe Minocchi, Captain for the Dover Fire Department, will be the guest speaker at the Dover Library Lunch and Learn at the Senior Center in Dover. His “Home Safety For Aging Adults” program will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 12:15. He will discuss safety concerns for aging adults, including fall, poison and fire prevention.

During his presentation, Minocchi will share fall risk assessment and give recommendations to reduce the risk of falling. He will tell how to safety-proof your home, touching upon poison prevention and fire prevention. He will also talk about how to protect yourself from elder abuse. This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month.
