Mosquito spraying schedule
The event
The New Philadelphia City Health Department will be spraying mosquitoes on Thursday the 7th of August 2025.
Due to a positive West Nile virus test result from a mosquito trap spraying will be performed in a 1-mile radius from the located near Bluebell Dr Northwest and Front Ave SW.
Due to a high number of mosquitoes, spraying will also occur within the following areas:
South Side of New Philadelphia – From Commercial Avenue to the Southside Community Park, and Soccer Complex.
North Side of New Philadelphia – Tuscora Park
Spraying will begin around 8:45 pm.
In case of rain, high winds or cold temperatures spraying may be delayed, rescheduled to the following evening, or cancelled.
