No Kings Day of Peaceful Action

/ October 18, 2025

The event

On Saturday, October 18th, East Central Ohio residents will come together with millions of Americans across the country in a nationwide day of nonviolent rallies at the second No Kings Day of Peaceful Action. There are over 2,600 events nationwide. Attendees are encouraged to wear yellow – a global symbol of peaceful resistance.

The local No Kings Rally will be held at the Tuscarawas County Courthouse on October 18th from 11:30am to 1:00pm in downtown New Philadelphia.

We’re excited to join with other groups organizing the No Kings peaceful rallies across the country including ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, SEIU, among others. A full list of partners can be seen at https://www.nokings.org/partners.

For a full list of participating cities, event details, and spokespeople available for interviews, visit www.NoKings.org or contact media@nokings.org.

All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent rallies and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and work closely with local law enforcement and other partners to ensure a peaceful event.
