Ohio Genealogical Society Presents Research at Fort Laurens
The event
Executive Director of the Ohio Genealogical Society Noel Poirier will be at Fort Laurens on Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m. as a part of the 2025 Free Speaker Series.
Presenting in the Fort Laurens theater, Poirer will explain genealogy research, with a focus on the research that has been done and is ongoing for Fort Laurens.
Poirer has an extensive history-focused background, including being the former executive director of the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum as well as a historic trades liaison to the John D. Rockefeller Library, two living historical farms in Pennsylvania and The National Watch & Clock Museum, Library and Research Center in Columbia, Pennsylvania, housing the largest horological collection in the world.
