The Knights of Columbus are hosting a chili cookoff this Saturday, February 11th, at 5:30pm, at the K of C Hall in Dover (346 West 9th Street). Cost is $12 per person. For tickets call 330-365-0393. Come sample chili from your favorite local restaurants and vote for your favorite.
Boy Scout Troop 86 is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Sunday, February 12th, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Dover. Cost is $9 per meal. Carry out is available.
The Warren Township Community Center hosts lunch every Monday from 11am to 1pm. Cost is your donation. You may dine in or call ahead and pick up. 330-365-9240. Monday, February 13th will feature swiss mushroom burgers and stuffed pepper soup. Lots of side dishes and dessert.
The Rotary Club of Dover will hold its annual community carnation sale on Monday, February 13th and Tuesday, February 14, from 2 to 6pm. Carnations will be for sale at Softie’s in Dover and Fundays in New Philadelphia. Cost is $20 per dozen.
St. John’s United Church of Christ invites everyone to Fourth and Faith on Thursday, February 16th, from 5 until 6:30pm, for Free Taco Thursday! Fourth and Faith is located next to St. John’s, in Dover. Free Taco Thursdays will be offered the third Thursday of each month.
The Open House for Tuscarawas County Catholic Schools is on Thursday, February 16th, from 6 to 8pm. It will take place at the TCC high school (777 3rd Street) in New Philadelphia.
