Peace Officer’s Memorial Day
The event
National Peace Officer Memorial Day is Monday, May 15th. Citizens, who have a flag at home or a business, are asked to lower the flag to half staff on that day. This is in remembrance of any law enforcement officer who has sacrificed his or her life in the line of duty and paid the ultimate price.
