School Day at Fort Laurens

The event
Fort Laurens Museum will host public school, private school and homeschooled students on Friday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
During the event, students will learn about life on the frontier during the Revolutionary War. Students can also participate in a variety of interactive stations and demonstrations showcasing what life was like in the 18th century, such as weaponry, medicine, kids’ games, yarn spinning and more. All activities meet Ohio educational standards for fourth through eighth grade.
Following School Day, Fort Laurens is holding their annual Revolutionary War reenactment featuring reenactors from the Brigade of the American Revolution on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The School Day is open to students of all ages. Pre-registration is required. Admission is $7 per student and free for one adult per group, with additional adult tickets at $7 each.
