Shoebox Recipient to Speak at Operation Christmas Child Dinner

Come and hear how an unconditional gift inspired Basit to grow his faith and pursue God’s calling to bring the Gospel where it has never gone before at the 11th Annual Ohio East Operation Christmas Child Dinner at Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek. Everyone is welcome! The dinner is offered at noon and 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 23. Additional money received will be given to Operation Christmas Child for The Greatest Journey.

During National Collection Week (November 17-24, 2025), Samaritan’s Purse will collect gift-filled shoeboxes at more than 4,000 drop-off sites in all 50 states & Puerto Rico.
