The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum is happy to announce they are now accepting nominations for the 2025 Lucille Nussdorfer Woman of the Year Award.

It’s time to recognize another legendary woman! Applications are available now for local leaders to nominate an outstanding woman who has made a significant, lasting impact through volunteerism in Tuscarawas County. Additional criteria include living and volunteering in Tuscarawas County, the nominee must be a female, they must be nominated by someone other than themselves, and the nominee must be available to attend the October 15th, 2025 award recognition ceremony at the Streetside Center across from the Depot.

From the applications received, the Lucille Nussdorfer Award Committee, made up of local leaders from several area businesses, will then read each application to narrow down and vote for 5 finalists. Those five finalists, also known as the “Fab Five” will be invited to a dinner awards banquet where each one of them will be presented by the guest who nominated them. At the end of the night, we will announce the 2025 Lucille Nussdorfer Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year.
