The Scarf Project – distribution day is now 11/18

The Scarf Project originally scheduled for Friday 11/11 is rescheduled for Friday 11/18 due to the weather forecast of 100% rain on the 11th, per Toni Kaltenbaugh. Donations of new and warm scarves can still be dropped off on the back porch of 730 Tuscarawas Av NW New Philadelphia. Or call 330-432-1930 to make arrangements if unable to drop off.

The Scarf Project is back this year to help keep the world warm, one scarf at a time. Volunteers have been working hard to make warm scarves and more to hang at various locations in Tuscarawas County. The scarves are free to take if you need one.

Locations: Dover (St. John’s United Church of Christ, Medical Suites, Missions Café), New Philadelphia (Rite Aid, Starlight Enterprises, Main Library), Midvale (corner of State Street and Barnhill Road), Mineral City (Nicole Donant Library), Strasburg (Village Market), Tuscarawas (St. James Lutheran Church), Uhrichsville (Panhandle Passage Trailhead Gazebo.)
