Towpath Rotary HealthCheck Scheduled for October 19

The popular Towpath Rotary Health Check event returns to the Bolivar Army Navy on Saturday October 19.

The Rotary is teaming up with SpringVale Health Centers to provide the lab services. In addition to the standard blood profile, men over the age of 50 have the option to add on a PSA screening for prostate cancer for an additional $15, and an optional A1C test for diabetes is available for $10.00.

“This service is not restricted to residents in the Bolivar/Zoar area. In the past, we’ve had people in attendance from as far away as Carrollton. All are welcome.” continued Elsasser.

Bolivar Army Navy will be offering breakfast for purchase as well, so stick around and enjoy breakfast and a little socializing!

· Date: Saturday, October 19 Time: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Location: Bolivar Army-Navy, 165 Canal Street, Bolivar

· Cost: $50.00 (Optional PSA for men add $15.00; Optional A1C: add $10.00) Payment made day of the event.

· Please fast for 12 hours before your test, and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
