Tuscarawas County Democratic Central Committee meeting
The event
The Tuscarawas County Democratic Central Committee will meet Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Democratic Headquarters, 1260 Monroe Street NW, New Philadelphia, for the purpose of selecting a candidate to replace Samuel Hitchcock, Democratic Nominee for Tuscarawas County Recorder. Hitchcock has formally withdrawn from the 2024 General Election.
Democrats residing in Tuscarawas County who are interested in applying to replace Hitchcock on the General Election ballot for the position of County Recorder are invited to attend the May 7th meeting to speak with the Central Committee. The Central Committee is responsible for selecting the candidate to serve as the Democratic Nominee for County Recorder in the November General Election.
Applicants are requested to notify the Democratic Party by emailing tuscdems@gmail.com
no later than May 6th of their interest in applying for the candidate position.
