United Way of Tuscarawas County to Hold Fourth Annual “Brews & Bites” Event
The event
The United Way of Tuscarawas County is holding its fourth annual Brews & Bites event Saturday, September 14th, at Kent State Tuscarawas. Formerly the “Brews, Burgers, and BBQ” event, this fundraiser began in 2021 and has grown to include seven breweries and five food truck options. The event will take place in Parking Lot A, and will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Breweries include Hoodletown Brewing Company, Lockport Brewery, Millersburg Brewing Company, Guernsey Brew House, Burial Beer, Main Sail Brewery, and Wooly Pig Farm Brewery. Food trucks that will be in attendance are Zontini Wood Fired Pizza Oven, Black Sheep Salad, The Big Papi’s Potatoes, Bowen Appetit Catering & Concessions, and Kent State Catering.
“I am so excited to continue this fun event,” stated Sarah Spies, President/CEO of the United Way of Tuscarawas County. “It’s a great opportunity to not only support our organization, but also to try new things from several local businesses. It is going to be a great day!”
Tickets are $60 and include a commemorative tasting glass, unlimited beer tastings, and a $5 voucher for use at the food trucks. Entertainment will be music by Teddy Snyder.
