Vitalant Blood Drives

Somewhere in the U.S. a patient needs blood every two seconds. While many are vacationing during the July 4 holiday week, Vitalant is calling on eligible donors to do their part to help steer clear of a summer blood shortage. One lucky donor who gives blood July 9-31 will win a car of their choice*.

Donations from donors of all blood types help patients. Type O and platelet donors are especially needed. Type O can help patients of most blood types. Platelets help stop bleeding and must be used within a week of donation.
