Volunteer Leaders in Action to Host 2023 Volunteer Connect Fair

The event

Volunteer Leaders in Action announces 2023 Volunteer Connect Fair – Spring into Volunteering. April is National Volunteer Month and VLIA wants to assist local organizations in recruiting new volunteers. The event will be held Thursday, April 13th from 3:00-6:00pm at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center. This event will feature local non-profit organizations in search of volunteers. Enjoy free ice cream while learning about their volunteer opportunities. The current slate of organizations includes The American Red Cross, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Birthright, COMPASS Sexual Assault Advocates, Empower Tusc, Dover-New Phila Mobile Meals, HARCATUS Retired Senior Volunteer Program [RSVP], Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County, Rural Action, Tuscarawas Arts Partnership (TAP), Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Tuscarawas County Senior Center, Tuscarawas County YMCA, The United Way of Tuscarawas County, and Zoar Village/Fort Laurens Museum. Registration for attendees is at the door. All those who complete registration will be entered into a grand prize drawing.
