Young Democrats – Meet the Candidate Forum

The Tuscarawas County Young Democrats would like to invite you to attend our Meet the Candidate Forum on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 7:00 PM in Founders Hall at Kent State University Tuscarawas, 300 University Dr. NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.

This event will bring together Democratic candidates running for local, state, and federal offices in the upcoming primary election. Voters will have the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities, their plans to win in districts that have trended Republican, and what they will do to make everyday life more affordable and workable for families here in Tuscarawas County and across Ohio.

Candidates or campaign representatives from the following offices have been invited: Governor, United States Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Ohio Supreme Court, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer of State, Auditor of State, Ohio Senate, Ohio House of Representatives, County Commissioner, County Auditor, and Court of Common Pleas.

This forum will focus on practical questions about electability, affordability, and what can realistically be accomplished in office. Our goal is to give voters a clear understanding of what each candidate stands for and how they plan to move Ohio forward.

The event is free and open to the public. Democrats, independents, and all interested community members are welcome to attend.
