Zoar Free Speaker Series June 1: 1800s Glass Bottles

Historic Zoar Village’s 2024 Free Speaker Series continues on Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. in the Schoolhouse where visitors can view rare 1800s glass bottles presented by Todd Knisley from The Ohio Bottle Club. “We are so excited for guests to learn from Todd’s and the Ohio Bottle Club’s expertise,” said Tammi Shrum, site director. “This will be a great opportunity to understand more about bottle collecting and discover how glass bottles were made in the 1800s.” Knisley is the editor for the Ohio Bottle Club’s “The Ohio Swirl” monthly newsletter and has a wide range of collectable and rare glass bottles.
