First-half property taxes due Friday

NEW PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 16, 2022) – Tuscarawas County Treasurer Jeffery S. Mamarella is reminding property owners that first-half real tax bills for real estate and manufactured homes are due by Friday.

Payments can be mailed to the Tuscarawas County Treasurer’s Office at 125 E. High Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH 44663. There is a drive-thru window open for payment convenience. There is also a drop box located on 1s Drive NE approximately 20 yards past the County Office Building where payment can be made 24 hrs. each day. Payments can be made online at www.co.tuscarawas.oh.us. Fees apply to online payments. If necessary, the County Office Building is open and payment can be made in person. Office and drive-thru hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

If you have not received your tax statement, please contact the Tuscarawas County Treasurer’s Office immediately. Failure to receive a tax statement does not eliminate responsibility to pay real estate taxes and penalties or interest accrued, in accordance with Section 323.13 of the Ohio Revised Code. 

PLEASE NOTE: Effective March 1, 2021 entry to the Tuscarawas County Office Building was reduced to ONE (1) entrance located off the courtyard on High St. This entrance is a secure entrance with a metal detector and sheriff deputies.
