Flames erupt from garage in Dover

DOVER (WJER) (Mar. 20, 2025) – City firefighters and others battled a garage fire that lit the night sky late Wednesday.
They were called around 11:20 p.m. to the 500 block of East Front Street for a detached garage fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters says they had it quickly under control to protect the two nearby houses.
There were no injuries. However, residents living at the house on the property with the garage have been temporarily displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
Firefighters remained on scene until just after 1:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
