Fox Takes Over as Uhrichsville Council President
UHRICHSVILLE (WTUZ) (Oct. 12, 2026) – Matt Fox is now leading Uhrichsville City Council, presiding over his first meeting Thursday after being appointed council president.
The Democratic Central Committee selected the former councilman to replace Robert “Buck” Cottrell, who resigned to join the Twin City Water and Sewer District Board.
Fox says his previous service gives him perspective he hopes will benefit council. He notes the role will be different without voting or committee duties but says he’s focused on helping guide the body’s direction.
Fox also says he hasn’t decided whether he’ll run in 2027 to complete the term through 2029.
