| November 15, 2023

ZOARVILLE (WJER) (Nov. 15, 2023) – The Trojan Foundation has established a fund at First Federal Community Bank where donations can be made to support those impacted by the Tuesday morning crash that claimed the lives of three Tusky Valley students, a teacher, and two parents.

Donations can be made at the bank – with checks made out to ‘TVStrong – or through a GoFundMe page titled “Tusky Valley Strong.”

More than 300 donors over $20,000 in the first 24 hours.

Donations will support memorial expenses, scholarships, medical costs, long-term care support, mental health treatment, and equipment loss.

In a social media post, Tusky Valley Superintendent Derek Varansky thanked supporters from across the nation:

“While we cannot respond to each message and phone call personally, please know your messages are being read, and we are grateful for your kind words, love, and support.”

Varanksy asks everyone to keep Tusky Valley in their thoughts and prayers.
