Gift cards to be distributed for Dress-A-Child program families
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WTUZ) (Aug. 12, 2024) – It is the big week for Dress-A-Child participants.
Qualifying families in the back-to-school clothing assistance program can pick up their gift cards beginning Wednesday. Dress-A-Child Co-Chair Brenda Jenkins says there was an application process based on household income and other factors.
Wednesday’s pickups are from 1:30 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 pm at the Tuscarawas County Public Library in New Philadelphia. If you can’t make it then, cards can also be picked up at the Dover Library on Thursday from noon to 3 and 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
Jenkins says the program wouldn’t be possible without monetary contributions. Checks made out to Dress-A-Child can be mailed to 929 Third Street Northeast in New Philadelphia.
