Improvements to Uhrichsville Waterpark wrapping up
UHRICHSVILLE (WJER) (May 4, 2022) – Work is continuing to get the Uhrichsville Waterpark ready to reopen for the season.
Service Director Belle Everett gave an update on the progress during last Thursday’s city council meeting.
“The electrical at the pump house is near complete. Exhaust fan work will begin next week. The fountain is near completion, filling and testing the system and the new programmer, which is awesome because remember we couldn’t get that due to COVID and the shortage of parts.”
Everett says slide painting is expected to begin May 10th and should be completed by the 17th. (She says bids to replace the fence have started coming in but they’re waiting on a couple more before awarding the contract.)
“Bids have come in for the fence inside the waterpark but we’re waiting on another bid or two because we want to compare and shop.”
The Water Park will open May 28th through 31st for Memorial Day weekend, then close again until the following Saturday. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for kids and younger teens, and $5 for those 62 and older.
