IVC announces spring all-conference awards
In softball in the IVC South, Indian Valley senior Gabby Meade is the Player of the Year for leading her team to another IVC South championship with a 12-0 conference record. Sandy Valley Coach Courtney Geiger is the IVC South Coach of the Year for guiding the Cardinals to a 7-5 conference record a year after they finished 3-9.2024 IVC Softball South Division
In the IVC North, undefeated league-champs Strasburg swept top honors. Senior Amelia Spidell is the Player of the Year and Tom Spidell is the Coach of the Year.2024 IVC Softball North Division All League
In baseball in the IVC South, Sandy Valley senior Nick Petro is the Player of the Year and his coach Andy Rasicci is the Coach of the Year. The Cardinals were 7-5 in conference play a year after finished 3-9.2024 IVC Baseball South Division
In the IVC North, champion Buckeye Trail has the Player of the Year in Braden Williams and the Coach of the Year in Cory McQuain.2024 IVC Baseball North Division
In boys track, the Athlete of the Year is Tusky Valley senior Jake Kapper, the 800 and 1600 meet champion, and part of the IVC champ 4×400 relay team. The Coach of the Year is Indian Valley’s Jim McPeek, whose Braves finished first at the IVC meet.2024 IVC Boys Track All League (1)
In girls track, Sandy Valley senior Lexi Tucci is the Athlete of the Year. She is the long jump champ, high jump champ, 100 runner-up and part of the runner-up 4×200 relay team.
