IVC Awards: Strasburg, Indian Valley take top softball honors
The IVC announced regular season award winners for softball, baseball, and track and field.
Indian Valley’s Mia Rose is the IVC South Player of the Year in softball. IV Coach Dusty Braun is the Coach of the year for leading the Braves to the South championship.
IVC Softball All League South Division
In the North for Softball, The Strasburg tandem of Pitcher Amelia Spidell and Tom Spidell are the player and coach of the year as the Tigers went undefeated in league play.
2023 IVC Softball All League Selections North Division
For baseball, Hiland swept the IVC South awards with Player of the Year Nolan Yoder and coach of the year Chris Dages.
IVC Baseball All League South Division
In the North, it was Buckeye Trail with Player of the Year Braden Williams and Coach of the Year Cory McQuain.
2023 IVC Baseball All League North Division
For IVC boys track, Claymont sprinter Alec Terakedis is the MVP. Indian Valley’s Jim McPeek is the Coach of the Year. On the girls side in track, Sandy Valley sprinter and long jumper Alaina Heller is the IVC MVP. Tusky Valley’s Mandy McElwee is the coach of the year.
