Knisely 2023 Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year
DENNISON (WJER) (Oct. 13, 2023) – The Dennison Depot has named its Lucille Nussdorfer Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year Award recipient for 2023.
Out of the five finalists at Thursday’s banquet, it was Debbie Knisely of New Philadelphia who was presented with the honor that goes to one winner each year for her volunteerism and involvement in the community.
She was nominated for her support of the arts and revitalization of downtown New Philadelphia, such as helping establish Artagain Alley and Alley Cats Marketplace.
She has been active with Community Hospice, the Rainbow Connection, Little Theatre, the YMCA, and others.
