Mayor of Uhrichsville touts city’s 2025 accomplishments
UHRICHSVILLE (WJER) (Jan. 5, 2026) – Uhrichsville Mayor Jim Zucal is looking back on the city’s successes during his second year in office.
Zucal went over some 2025 highlights at council’s final meeting of the year, such as hiring several new employees in the street department and a new code enforcement officer.
He says the accomplishments also included negotiating a firefighter contract, implementing some pay raises, selling street equipment items, and approving a 10-year Axon body camera contract.
Zucal says the emphasis on cleaning up the city included the demolition of at least three houses, adopting the International Property Maintenance Code, and passing an ordinance prohibiting camping on public property.
