Mechanical failure closes waterpark
UHRICHSVILLE – The Uhrichsville Waterpark remains closed to start the week because of a major mechanical failure.
Mayor Jim Zucal in a press release said the management overfilled the pool, causing the problem, which he called a mechanical failure of major significance.
He says the closure may last more than a few days, but city officials hope to re-open the waterpark soon.
The city had been trying to fix a slide that disconnected from the pool floor and caused the closure of the waterpark late last week.
