More time offered for early voting as March primary looms

| March 11, 2024

NEW PHILADELPHIA (March 11, 2024) (WJER) – We’re just over a week out now from Ohio’s presidential primary.

Tuscarawas County Board of Elections Director Gail Garbrandt says the weekday early voting hours at the courthouse have expanded from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Early voting hours Saturday are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The hours on the final day of early voting, Sunday, are from 1 to 5 p.m.

Garbrandt says tomorrow is also the deadline for the board to receive absentee ballot applications for this election. So, the board office will be open an extra hour to drop those off or vote early, until 8:30 p.m. tomorrow night.
