Motorcycle operator injured in Sunday crash near Newcomerstown
WASHINGTON TWP. (WJER) (June 10, 2024) – A 65-year-old Doylestown area man was taken to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle east of Newcomerstown Sunday.
Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s call records indicate he went off the right side of the roadway in the 1400 block of state Route 258 SW and struck a ditch before the motorcycle came to a rest back on the road around 5:15 p.m.
Authorities were on scene close to two and a half hours.
The crash was under investigation.
