NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Jan. 23, 2025) – City Council is back to full strength again.
Brian Sears officially became council’s new Ward 2 representative Wednesday during a ceremony at city hall.
The Tuscarawas County Republican Central Committee picked Sears to replace former councilman turned commissioner Mitch Pace. The appointment runs through the end of the year. Sears has said he intends to run for re-election in May.
