Newcomerstown man dies in Wednesday crash on I-77
CAMBRIDGE (WJER) (July 24, 2025) – The State Highway Patrol says a Newcomerstown man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-77 in Guernsey County Wednesday morning.
63-year-old Christopher Morrow died in the crash shortly before 6 a.m. just north of the Kimbolton exit.
Cambridge Post Commander Lt. Todd Henry says Morrow’s northbound car went off the left side of the roadway, through the median, and struck a guardrail on the southbound side of the highway.
He says Morrow was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
Henry says the crash remains under investigation through his post and the coroner’s office.
