ODOT to Share Updated Concepts for I 77/Us 250/Sr 39 Interchange Improvements

| June 30, 2026

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (June 30, 2026) The Ohio Department of Transportation is rolling out updated design ideas for improving traffic flow and safety at the I‑77, U.S. Route 250, and State Route 39 interchange.

A second public open house is set for today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buckeye Career Center, where ODOT will present nine design alternatives shaped by public feedback from December’s meeting.

ODOT spokesperson Lauren Borell says the concepts include the possible addition of three roundabouts. Visitors will be able to ask questions, talk directly with the project team, and share input.

For anyone unable to attend, project details and a feedback form will be available on ODOT’s website, with updates also posted on District 11’s Facebook page.
