Outdoor holiday market returns for Year 2

| November 22, 2024

DENNISON (WJER) (Nov. 22, 2024) – The downtown will be filled with vendors, food trucks, and holiday cheer during a special event on Saturday.

The Christkindlmarket is happening along Fourth Street from noon to 8 pm also with live music, carriage rides, photos with Santa, and more. It’s being put on by the Uhrichsville Farmers Market. Board Member Shana Angel encourages everyone to come check it out.

“We are hoping when people come to the Christkindlmarket Dennison that it is just going to be an absolutely magical Christmas-style experience, that they will have the experience of connecting with community and filling themselves with holiday spirit all the way through.”

She says it’s a great opportunity to add some local flare to your Thanksgiving meal and take care of some Christmas shopping.

“There’s going to be your typical farmers market vendors. My farm will be there selling meats and then there’s going to be a few of the other ones that are going to be there. But in addition to those typical farmers market vendors, there’s also going to be a lot of artisan vendors.”

There will also be trackless train rides, a gingerbread competition, and s’mores making stations with additional festivities taking place at the library and downtown businesses.

“It’s even cuter than I ever could have imagined.”

The schedule, map, and vendors list are on the Uhrichsville Farmers Market Facebook page.
