Passenger Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash Near Tusky
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (July 6, 2026) — State troopers are investigating a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash near Tusky that sent a passenger to the hospital.
New Philadelphia Post Sgt. Jennifer Makris said the motorcycle hit a guardrail and overturned shortly before 3 p.m. in the 5800 block of Tuscarawas Road Southeast. The passenger was taken to Aultman Hospital with injuries that had not been disclosed.
The patrol has not released the names or hometowns of those involved, and the crash report remains incomplete. No information was available about whether the motorcycle operator was injured. Troopers expect to provide an update Tuesday as the investigation continues.
