Rainbow Connection raises $352K for new telethon record

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (March 10, 2025) – The Rainbow Connection has reason to celebrate again today.
The non-profit organization’s annual telethon and weeklong auction raised more than $352,000 by the time the broadcast ended Sunday afternoon, all to help disadvantaged residents and people with disabilities throughout the county.
Sunday’s telethon topped last year’s record by about $24,000.
Director Perci Garner is praising the community for its continued support.
