Real estate company closes deal to bring Dunkin’ to New Philadelphia

NEW PHILADELPHIA – Dunkin’ is the next national restaurant chain planning a store in Tuscarawas County.
Terry Everett with the Infinity Representatives real estate company tells us that the national coffee and donut chain is buying the former Long John Silver’s property on Bluebell Drive in New Philadelphia. He says he closed the deal Tuesday.
Everett says Dunkin’ has been doing their due diligence and working with city officials to make sure everything is in order. He anticipates the restaurant will need several months to remodel before being ready to open.
Dunkin’ is the latest in a string of recent announcements of national fast food restaurants coming to the area, following Taco Bell in north Dover and Chick-fil-A in New Philadelphia.
New Philadelphia also celebrated the opening of the Pilot Brewhouse by Lockport on East High Avenue with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday.
