Registration deadline arrives for March presidential primary

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Feb. 20, 2024) – Elections officials are reminding everyone that today is the last day to register to vote for the March 19^th primary.

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office is promoting the convenience of registering at www.voteohio.gov.

You will need to provide your driver’s license or Ohio ID card number, name, date of birth, address, and the last four digits of your social security number.

You can also register to vote at the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections office in the courthouse, which will be open until 9 p.m. tonight for the occasion.

Early voting then begins there Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
