Renovations begin to add health clinic to former TV High School

| March 3, 2025

ZOARVILLE (Mar. 3, 2025) – Construction is underway on a new health center for the Tusky Valley school community.

District Superintendent Derek Varansky says the cost is covered under a $2.28 million Governor’s Appalachian program grant that is serving a few area districts.

The health clinic will be in the old high school.

Varansky says Aultman Hospital will operate the multi-use health space, providing urgent care for students and primary care for residents.

The project is set to be completed by the end of August. The plan is to combine an opening with the district’s annual Back to School Bash.
