RTY bringing more kiddie rides to Tuscora Park
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (March 1, 2024) – RTY officials are revealing some details about new attractions coming to Tuscora Park while keeping quiet about others, for now.
Board Chair Greg Rees says there should be three vintage kiddie rides added in 2025. He described them as a boat ride, a fiberglass horse ride with two seats for children, and an interactive ride where kids grab the wheel in the middle to make it revolve.
He says the rides will be getting some maintenance first to improve their appearance, and for state inspection purposes. The inoperable batting cages are being removed to make room for these rides.
Rees says RTY hopes to have another ride new to the park ready for this season, but they’re not ready to unveil it yet.
Rees says RTY was able to get the rides from someone who owned an amusement park in exchange for Tuscora Park’s old train.
