Sheriff’s office investigating discovery of body in car
DENNISON (WJER) (May 16, 2022) – The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body in a car in the neighborhood behind Trinity Hospital Twin City early Sunday.
The person was tentatively identified as John Q Bashline II of Powhatan Point in Belmont County.
Online records indicate he was 37 years old.
No cause of death has been given.
9-1-1 received the call about the car sitting on McKee Rd just after 4:30 am Sunday.
A Facebook post from the sheriff’s office includes a picture of Bashline and the type of car he was in.
The sheriff’s office hopes to speak with anyone that may have recently seen Bashline or the car.

Sheriff’s officials weren’t immediately available for more details Sunday or early Monday.
