Sherrodsville man charged with OVI for 8th time
NEW PHILADELPHIA – A Sherrodsville man has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated for the eighth time.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol New Philadelphia Post reports 54-year-old Roger D. Brown was driving a 2011 Ford Taurus east on state Route 39 in Warren Township on Sunday just before 6:30 p.m. when he went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch and an outdoor pavilion.
The Patrol says his blood alcohol level was .25. The legal limit is .08.
Authorities charged him with OVI and failure to control in Common Pleas Court pending a Grand Jury review.
