UPDATE: One Dennison Resident Found, Second Still Missing
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Nov. 2, 2026) – The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office has updated its statewide Missing Adult Alert after locating 66‑year‑old Donald Ray Schafer at Aultman Hospital. However, 62‑year‑old Kimberly June Price Schafer is still missing and is now believed to be driving the vehicle, according to Flock camera detections.
The pair left Donald Schafer’s Logan Street home in Dennison around 3:30 p.m. on October 31 and had not returned, prompting concern for their safety. Schafer has a diagnosed brain injury.
Kimberly Schafer is described as 5‑foot‑4, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
She may be traveling in a gold 2011 Ford Escape, Ohio plate HZU‑1117. Officials note the vehicle shown in the alert is not the actual vehicle.
