Strasburg, Hiland take top honors in IVC girls basketball; boys awards split among four teams
The Strasburg girls basketball team swept the top postseason awards in the IVC North. Junior Riley Thomas is the Player of the Year and Troy McClellan is the Coach of the Year for leading the Tigers to an undefeated conference record.
IVC Girls Basketball North Division
Hiland claimed the top honors in the girls IVC South. Senior Ashley Mullet is the Player of the Year and Coach Brady Schlabach is the Coach of the Year.
IVC Girls Basketball South Division
The undefeated IVC North champs in boys basketball have the IVC North Player of the Year. Malvern senior J’Allen Barrino wins the award for leading the team to an undefeated IVC season. The Coach of the Year is IVC North runner-up East Canton Coach Ryan McGonagle.
2024 Boys Basketball North Division
In the IVC South, Sandy Valley senior Dantae Faiello is the Player of the Year and co-champ Hiland Coach Mark Schlabach is the IVC South Coach of the Year.
