Stuff the Bus Drive Supports Local Head Start Classrooms
NEW PHILADELPHIA — The United Way of Tuscarawas County and Harcatus are teaming up for the annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive today and tomorrow to benefit preschool children in Head Start classrooms across the county.
The bus will be parked at Walmart in New Philadelphia from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Head Start Director Brooke Yager says residents can help by donating needed classroom supplies, including crayons, washable markers, large glue sticks, and other items for the youngest students.
Donations are also being accepted today at a lemonade stand on Gibbs Lane in Dover, where children are collecting supplies and monetary gifts for both Stuff the Bus and the Tuscarawas County Humane Society
