Sugarcreek Man Dies in Sunday Morning Motorcycle Crash
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Aug. 3, 2026) – State troopers say a Sugarcreek man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Sunday morning just east of the village.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Marcus Miller was riding a motorcycle west on State Route 39 near Prysi Road around 10:37 when it collided with an eastbound SUV turning left. The motorcycle then crossed the center line and clipped another SUV.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was wearing a helmet and protective gear. The other drivers and passengers were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
