Sunday blaze levels large Dundee area barn

WAYNE TWP. (WJER) (Oct. 14, 2024) – About 80 firefighters from 10 departments responded to a massive barn fire near Dundee early Sunday.
Wayne Township Fire Chief Josh Yoder says the owner and a neighbor reported the fire in the 11000 block of Trail Bottom Road NW around 5:20 a.m.
The approximately 100’ x 150’ barn is a total loss. Nobody was injured and there were no animals inside.
Yoder says the barn contained about 200 round bales of hay as well as a pickup truck and a payloader. The final firefighters left the scene around 2 p.m.
He says the cause is being listed as undermined for now, but no foul play is suspected.
