Third Street Bridge Project Begins in Uhrichsville
UHRICHSVILLE (WJER) (July 13, 2026) – A long-awaited bridge project is getting underway today in Uhrichsville, bringing a temporary closure to part of Third Street while crews replace the bridge deck.
City Service Director Cade Watkins says the $1.6 million project is expected to take a few months, with drivers facing a 90-day closure between North Water and North Jay streets.
An ODOT grant is covering 95% of the cost, and detour signs have been posted to help motorists navigate around the work zone.
